About Mindful Nutrition Flow
Empowering athletes through mindful movement and evidence-based yoga sequences
Since our founding, we've been dedicated to creating yoga sequences specifically designed for the athletic body—combining traditional wisdom with modern sports science.
Our Story
Mindful Nutrition Flow was born from a simple observation: athletes often train with intensity and dedication, but lack structured practices to support recovery, mobility, and mental resilience. Our founder, a yoga instructor with a background in sports science, recognised this gap and set out to bridge it.
What started as small yoga sessions for local runners and cyclists in Glasgow has grown into a comprehensive platform offering thoughtfully designed sequences tailored to different sports and fitness goals. We believe that mindful movement is not a luxury—it's an essential component of athletic excellence.
Today, we serve athletes across the United Kingdom and beyond, offering free, accessible guidance for incorporating yoga into training routines. Every sequence we create is informed by anatomical knowledge, athlete feedback, and a commitment to practical, results-oriented instruction.
Our Mission & Values
Our Mission
To provide accessible, science-informed yoga sequences that enhance athletic performance, accelerate recovery, and foster long-term wellness for athletes of all levels.
Integrity
We prioritise evidence over marketing hype. Our recommendations are grounded in sports science, anatomy, and real-world athlete experience—never overpromised or exaggerated.
Inclusivity
Yoga is for every athlete. Whether you're a competitive runner, casual gym-goer, or returning from injury, our sequences meet you where you are with modifications and progressions.
Core Values
- Accessibility: Free, high-quality content available to everyone. No paywalls, no gatekeeping.
- Education: We teach the 'why' behind every practice, empowering athletes to understand their own bodies.
- Respect for the Body: We honour the athlete's training load and design sequences that complement (not compete with) their main sport.
- Continuous Improvement: We listen to feedback and evolve our offerings to better serve our community.

Every sequence is informed by peer-reviewed research in sports physiology, anatomy, and recovery science. We don't make claims we can't support. Our recommendations align with recognised best practices in athletic training.
Real Athlete Feedback
Our sequences have been tested and refined by hundreds of athletes—runners, cyclists, footballers, climbers, and more. We listen to what works in practice, not just in theory.
Transparent & Ethical
We disclose our approach, our limitations, and what yoga can and cannot do. No exaggerated promises. We prioritise athlete safety and long-term wellness over quick fixes.
Freely Available
Yoga and movement guidance should not be gatekept behind paywalls. Our comprehensive library of sequences, articles, and educational content is freely accessible to athletes everywhere.

Frequently Asked Questions
We are an editorial platform offering free, written and video content about yoga sequences for athletes. We're based in Glasgow, UK, but we serve a global audience through our website. We don't offer live classes or in-person consultations—our focus is on providing accessible, self-guided resources that athletes can use anytime, anywhere.
Not at all. Our sequences are designed for athletes of all yoga backgrounds, from complete beginners to experienced practitioners. Each sequence includes detailed alignment cues and modifications. If you're new to yoga, we recommend starting with our beginner-friendly athlete foundations series before progressing to sport-specific sequences. You can move at your own pace and adapt postures to suit your current flexibility and strength.
This depends on your training volume and goals. Most athletes benefit from 1-3 yoga sessions per week as a complement to their primary sport. Our sequences are designed to enhance recovery and mobility without adding excessive fatigue. We provide guidelines within each sequence for optimal timing (e.g., post-workout, rest days). Listen to your body and adjust frequency based on how you feel and your current training intensity.
Yes. Our entire library of yoga sequences, educational articles, and athlete wellness content is freely available. We believe quality movement guidance should be accessible to everyone, regardless of financial means. We're funded through editorial partnerships and sponsorships, allowing us to maintain a free, ad-light experience for our users. No subscriptions, no hidden paywalls.
Many of our sequences include modifications for common athlete injuries and imbalances. However, if you have an acute or serious injury, consult a medical professional or physiotherapist before beginning any new movement practice. Our content is designed to support general wellness and mobility, not to replace medical advice. We always err on the side of caution and recommend pausing sequences if you experience pain. Your safety is our priority.
We love hearing from our community. You can reach our editorial team at [email protected] with feedback, questions, or sequence requests. You can also fill out our contact form to get in touch. Your insights help us create content that truly serves athletes' needs.
